Jemma Peat
Jemma is a Chartered Accountant with over 10 years’ experience in accounting and has been working with St. James’s Place in our Singapore office since 2017. Gemma has experience in audit, assurance, and advisory services across a wide range of industries.
Within her team across Asia, Gemma assists the business to achieve operational and strategic targets and she is responsible for key activities including financial reporting, regulatory reporting, financial planning, and analysis across the Asia business.
Geraldine Kuang
Geraldine manages Regulatory Compliance, Governance and Market Conduct matters for the Singapore office. As a compliance professional equipped with over 14 years of experience, her career took off with Ernst and Young in the financial services audit function, auditing a wide range of financial institutions in the banking and asset management sectors. She subsequently took on various commercial Compliance related roles with fund management and financial advisory companies such as Lion Global Investors, JP Morgan Asset Management and Infinitum Financial Advisory (subsidiary of Income), which broadened her risk and compliance expertise and honed her leadership skills. In 2023, Geraldine joined St. James’s Place to support the front and back-office stakeholders, and at the same time design, implement and monitor processes to ensure continued compliance to regulations and business efficiency.
Geraldine holds the ICA Advanced Diploma in Regulatory Compliance, along with a degree in accountancy. She enjoys family time and embark on new travel adventures.
Tony Smith
Tony has been in the financial services industry for 23 years. Originally a financial adviser, he then spent 12 years with AXA Wealth in the UK as a Business Development Manager, supporting independent financial advisers in relation to the provision of financial planning for their clients. He transferred to St. James’s Place UK in 2012 and to Hong Kong in 2016.
Tony provides tax and technical support to St. James’s Place Partners and clients focusing on UK taxation, trust and estate planning issues for globally mobile clients.
Tony is a cricket and rugby fan, is an avid traveller who enjoys sailing and walking his adopted Hong Kong local dog.
Martin W. Hennecke
With a career in wealth management spanning over 20 years in Germany and Hong Kong, Martin W. Hennecke brings a wealth of industry knowledge to St. James’s Place. A strong advocate for ethical and professional advice, Martin is a sought-after speaker at Investment Forums across Asia and well known through appearances on television and radio programs including Bloomberg, CNBC and CNA.
Martin holds a 1st class (Hons) degree in International Business from Oxford Brookes University and an MBA (distinction) from HKUST Business School.
In his spare time, he enjoys reading and outdoor family trips.
Raymond Woo
Raymond has more than 19 years of experience in banking and financial services in extensive roles ranging from advisory to business development and channel distribution. Spending the earlier years of his career in Relationship Management at Citibank and Standard Chartered Bank, Raymond moved on to a financial advisory role at Manulife before managing a team of Financial Planners at AXA Life. Seeking a different challenge in the corporate sector, Raymond joined AIA, where he implemented a programme to recruit and develop Advisers aspiring towards achieving the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) accolade and was also part of the management team that established AIA Financial Advisers, recruiting several hundred Advisers in its inaugural year.
This industry experience has enabled Raymond to deeply appreciate the financial services landscape in Singapore and translate that knowledge and expertise into meaningful and effective engagements with St. James’s Place Partners to support them better and empower them to grow stronger and more sustainable businesses.
